Policies & Client Information
Appointments & Cancellations
We are committed to providing timely, consistent care to every client. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a late-cancellation fee. Regular attendance and active participation are important to maintaining continuity of care and supporting the success of your treatment plan.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy and confidentiality are extremely important to us. We comply with all applicable HIPAA requirements to protect your personal and health information.
Your records will not be released without your written authorization unless disclosure is required or permitted by law. Exceptions may include situations involving an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, or other circumstances where reporting is legally required.
Communication & Emergencies
For routine questions, appointment-related matters, and other non-urgent communication, please use our secure patient portal.
Please be aware that our practice is not a crisis-response center and may not be able to respond immediately outside scheduled appointment times. In the event of a psychiatric emergency or life-threatening situation, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
You may also call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.
Telehealth & Virtual Visits
Telehealth appointments are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to help protect your privacy and personal information.
At the time of your appointment, you must be physically located in a state where your provider is legally licensed to practice. Please attend your session from a private, quiet location and ensure that you have a reliable internet connection and a suitable device for the appointment.
Payment & Insurance
Payment is due at the time services are provided. Our clinic operates primarily on a private-pay basis, allowing us to offer personalized care without the restrictions that may be imposed by insurance companies.
We are considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. Upon request, we can provide a monthly superbill containing the information required for you to submit a reimbursement claim to your insurance provider.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and will depend on your individual insurance plan, benefits, deductible, and out-of-network coverage. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your eligibility and reimbursement options.
